Agrowisata Tambi Tea Garden Wonosobo, Tea Garden On the Slopes of Mount Sindoro

Agrowisata Tambi Tea Garden is a plantation-based tourism attraction, landscapes, and outbound located at the foot of Mount Sindoro. This tea garden is a heritage of the Dutch era that is currently still managed by a government-owned company. Its existence is well known as it is adjacent to the main line to Dieng Plateau.
 Agrowisata Tambi Tea Garden is located approximately 16 km north of Wonosobo City. The tourist attractions are equipped with well-furnished and complete guest rooms. There will be a guide who takes you around the tea plantation, sees the tea picker staff working and into the tea factory looking at the tea processing from the leaves until it is ready to be served.
 Formerly (1885) this plantation belonged to the Netherlands by the name of Bagelen Thee & Kina Maatschappij managed by NV John Peet based in Jakarta. After Indonesia became independent, it was taken over by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, after which the Round Table Conference (Konferensi Meja Bundar) was again handed over to its original owners. In 1954 the plantation was sold to NV Eks VAT (State Plantation Officer) Sindoro Sumbing.
In The 1954 NV Eks VAT Sindoro Sumbing in cooperation with Local Government of Wonosobo established a new company called NV Tambi and now renamed PT Tambi. The location of the plantation is located on the western slopes of Mount Sindoro and Sumbing in the middle of Central Java. Altitude 800 - 2,000 meters above sea level with rainfall level 2,500 - 3,500 mm per year.
